Counseling through the EAP Program typically involves weekly sessions, usually 50-60 minutes in length.  Duration of treatment varies depending on the nature of the problem and your individual needs. However, the goal of the program is short-term counseling which usually involves six (6) sessions or less.

  • Sworn officers, support personnel, department employees, and their dependents are eligible for services.

  • Critical Incident Stress Debriefings are confidential psycho-educational sessions and are not fitness for duty evaluations.

  • We currently offer both in-person appointments, at our office in Medley, and remote telehealth appointments, from a quiet location of your choice, via secure and confidential video-conferencing platform. At the time of scheduling, our office staff will inquire regarding your preference. Annual Wellness Visits will be scheduled as remote appointments.

  • Evening and weekend hours available, by appointment only.

  • All services through the Officer/Employee Assistance Program are free of charge for contracted agencies/city organizations. No names of clients/service users or identifying information is disclosed in the billing process.

    • In order to confirm eligibility, please bring your city/department issued ID
